Elvy Rose is a consummate
entertainer known for her awesome voice, her incredible
energy and warmth on stage, and her tremendous talent. She
is a native of Miami, Florida,
where she acquired most of her music education. She now
resides in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Her artistry evolved from a career of over twenty
years. Consistently as a headliner, leading lady, fronting a
Top 40 or jazz band. Elvy’s background and training is in
classical piano,voice, ballet and flamenco. Her range of
talent is vast, performing Top 40 music, pop, rock & roll,
blues, jazz, standards, swing, country western, & musical
theater. She's also starred in many Vegas type revues and
latin music videos. Her dance talents include hip-hop, jazz
and flamenco. International flavor is added with her ability
to sing in spanish, portuguese and french.
Currently, and as she has done throughout her career,
the “Electrifying Elvy Rose” is appearing as a solo cabaret
act on passenger cruise ships . This experience has led her
to work with notable artists such as Jerry Lewis, Chaka
Khan, Blondie, Patti Lupone, The Fifth Dimension, Rita
Moreno, Norm Crosby, Mary Wilson (of the Supremes), and many
others.
Because of Elvy's wonderful ability to sing in just
about any vocal style, she can change her show at will
depending upon the make-up of her audience.
An experienced writer, director, and choreographer,
Elvy incorporates dancers and costume changes in her show.
Jerry Lewis, upon watching Elvy’s performance,
declared, “That kid’s got a great set of pipes!”. Mr. Lewis
is indeed correct in his remarks - Elvy does have a “great
set of pipes”, but more than that she has the innate ability
to convey the very essence of each song she sings and allows
the audience to experience the true magic of her
extraordinary performance! |
