This is the latest album
recorded by Elvy. The first CD was a live recording of her show a
few years ago. But this album was professionally recorded in
a studio. "Things I Do For You" is truly a display of the variety of
styles and the scope of talent possessed by The Rose. It contains
some jazz, swing, big-band, funk, contemporary ballades, beautiful
Spanish ballades, French, samba, calypso/disco and flamenco rumba .
Although many sound like originals, all are covers except for "Big
Girl Tonight" which was written for Elvy by Scott Loehr. Elvy sings
a gorgeous duet with Johnny Porrazzo in English and Spanish called,
"First time on a Ferris Wheel" that has become a hot favorite!!!
